Company Overview: We are a 129-year-old family-owned business specializing in furniture and flooring. Our commitment to exceptional customer service and quality products has been the cornerstone of our success. We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Furniture and Flooring Salesperson.
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients visiting our showroom, guiding them through the selection and purchase process.
* Manage customer orders from sale to delivery, ensuring a seamless experience.
* Collaborate with the business owner to develop effective sales strategies and promote best-selling products.
* Schedule flooring measures at customer residences for our flooring estimator.
* Assist with marketing and social media campaigns as needed.
* Maintain accurate customer records and ensure the showroom is well-presented at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong customer handling skills and the ability to adapt product offerings to meet customer needs.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Knowledge of furniture and/or flooring sales preferred, but outstanding candidates with sales experience in other areas will be considered.
* Familiarity with email, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and websites.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
Work Environment
Our company prides itself on a collaborative and supportive work environment. We value the input of every team member and strive to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The position is based in our central Farnham showroom, and remote work is not available.

A competitive salary will be offered to the right candidate in line with industry pay scales.
