You will work in partnership with all stakeholders within Whitburn Academy to ensure a high-quality student experience that reflects curricular design principles and student entitlements, with the ultimate goal of maximizing achievement and attainment for all. A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland are essential.
This position is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will need to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment begins, with costs covered by the candidate. The fee for full PVG Scheme membership is £59; existing members pay £18.
