Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
To perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in compliance with legislative and customer-specific requirements, ensuring high standards of safety and quality in inspections.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
LEVEL 2 INSPECTORS
1. Supervision: Oversee daily operations in the NDT inspection area(s) assigned, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
2. Equipment Management: Set up NDT equipment and conduct in-service control checks to ensure operational readiness.
3. Inspection Execution: Carry out NDT inspections on newly manufactured and in-service components across a variety of products, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Strictly follow all relevant regulatory agency, customer, and company policies, procedures, and processes during inspections.
5. Safety Focus: Execute tasks professionally with a strong emphasis on the safety of both products and personnel.
6. Result Interpretation: Interpret and evaluate inspection results against established customer specifications, procedures, and codes.
7. Technique Development: Develop and document inspection techniques that meet customer requirements and adhere to relevant codes.
