As a School Van Driver and Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Driving the school van or minibus to safely transport students to and from school or activities.
* Assisting teachers with day-to-day classroom management and student support.
* Providing one-to-one or small group assistance to help students access learning.
* Creating a safe and nurturing environment where students feel supported.
* Supervising students during non-classroom times such as trips and transitions.
To be successful as a School Van Driver and Teaching Assistant, you must:
* Hold a full, clean driving licence (D1 category is ideal, but not always necessary depending on vehicle).
* Be confident, patient, and reliable with a genuine passion for helping young people.
* Ideally have previous experience working in a school or youth setting (though training can be provided).
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Be available for a full-time, long-term role starting immediately.
