Job Description

As Head of Revenue at Sofitel London St James, you will report to the Commercial Director and lead total revenue strategy across E-Commerce, Rooms, Groups & Events, and F&B. This includes pricing, forecasting, distribution, and optimisation of F&B reservations and channels. You will drive cross-functional collaboration to maximise profitability, leveraging data-driven insights to ensure commercial performance aligns with the hotel’s strategic objectives in the competitive London luxury market.

Responsibilities

* TRevPAR
* Drive revenue performance in all revenue streams: rooms, food & beverage, and other revenues as appropriate. Focus on total hotel and profitable revenue. Drive the TRevPAR strategy and approach focusing on total hotel and profitable revenue.
* Guide and direct all revenue generating departments and their leaders in selecting the optimum revenue opportunities for the hotel.
* Support the achievement of Loyalty program targets through analysis and strategic actions.
* Measure hotel revenue performance against strategy and targets; re-align strategy as needed. Communicate sell strategy to departments and ensure implementation.
* Yield & Revenue
* Chair commercial strategy meetings, recommend revenue options, set targets, and ensure communication and action.
* Develop pricing and market mix strategies for all revenue streams.
* Analyze product, price, occupancy, Net RevPAR, and RGI within the competitive set; analyze spend and profitability by segment.
* Drive implementation of ACCOR preferred systems and channels.
* Evaluate business mix and make recommendations for rate setting and negotiations.
* Contribute to the hotel’s budget process and strategies.
* Represent the hotel’s products in distribution channels.
* Produce weekly and monthly rate and occupancy forecasts.
* Redesign and implement new processes or systems when necessary.

E-Commerce

* Oversee e-commerce performance, focusing on direct revenue through digital platforms.
* Align pricing, offers, and content strategies with the digital team.
* Ensure rate integrity, channel parity, and visibility across digital touchpoints.
* Monitor website performance and booking metrics to identify opportunities.
* Coordinate with Marketing on digital campaigns and promotions.

Groups & Events and F&B

* Set group pricing and acceptance parameters based on market analysis.
* Ensure tools for accurate quoting are current and used effectively.
* Collaborate with the Groups & Events Manager on strategy and performance.
* Lead F&B channels’ commercial strategy, collaborating with the reservations team to maximize outlet revenue.

Leadership

* Manage the hotel’s commercial teams (reservations and F&B Reservations).
* Solve complex problems impacting multiple departments.
* Support team development and career growth.
* Mentor and coach team members.
* Identify opportunities and take actions to improve results.
* Ensure team engagement.

Talent & Culture Management

* Promote Sofitel London St James and La Maison values.
* Support diversity and inclusion.
* Adopt sustainable practices in resource use.
* Familiarize with company policies and benefits.
* Manage rotas and conduct recruitment and training.
* Complete reviews and mandatory trainings.

Qualifications

* Minimum 2 years in Revenue Management or related topics.
* Experience with IDeaS G3 or similar RMS.
* Experience in dynamic city markets, ideally London.
* Results-oriented with strong commercial drive.
* Passion for Total Revenue Management.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
