Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 (dependent on experience)

The Role
We're looking for a dynamic, motivated, and inspiring Football Development Officer (Coach Development) to lead on coach development across Merseyside. You'll work with England Football Accredited clubs to grow and sustain coaching opportunities, ensuring a high-quality experience for players across all pathways.
You'll be part of a passionate team covering Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helens, Halton, Warrington, and West Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead coach development with 2- and 3-star Accredited Clubs.
* Deliver Coach Developer training and mentoring.
* Manage and support a team of Casual Coach Developers.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver the Thriving Community Clubs Framework.
* Support club-specific coach development plans.
* Promote inclusion, safeguarding, and positive behaviour in football.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
* UEFA B Licence (or equivalent.)
* Significant coach development experience.
* Strong project management and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A passion for grassroots football and community development.
Desirable:
* Youth Module 3.
* Experience in sports development.
* Knowledge of The FA's 2024–28 Strategy.
