The student is a wheelchair user, non-verbal, and uses visual aids for communication. This is a full-time role starting in September, with an immediate trial available this Thursday (17/07/2025). You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team focused on student-centred care and learning. Key Requirements: •Proven experience supporting students with SEND, particularly non-verbal communication •Confident using visual aids and communication tools (e.g. PECs, symbols, ACC, communication boards) •Manual handling training (essential) •Ability to work 1:1 with empathy, patience, and consistency •Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply This role is ideal for candidates with: •A background in care, therapy, or previous 1:1 SEND support •Strong communication and behaviour management skills •A proactive, calm and supportive approach to learning Apply now to secure your trial place!
