Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Cold Store) Pay Rate: £13.55 per hour Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Location: WF3 Working Hours: Days - 4 on 4 off - 18:00 - 06:00 Job Summary We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our team in the Cold Store. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The role involves working in a chilled environment, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently to meet customer and business requirements. Key Responsibilities Picking, packing, and loading/unloading goods in a cold store environment Operating warehouse equipment safely (e.g. pallet trucks, scanners). Maintaining accurate stock levels and completing relevant paperwork or system updates. Ensuring products are stored correctly and handled with care to avoid damage. Following all health & safety, food safety, and hygiene regulations. Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse area. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or cold store environment is preferred but not essential. Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods (appropriate PPE will be provided). Good attention to detail and strong work ethic. Physically fit and able to lift up to [insert weight if relevant]. Reliable, punctual, and a good team player. Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime when required.
