Job Description:
Are you currently leaving college and looking to step into your first role? Are you technically minded? Do you have an interest in electrical components? We have the opportunity to join an established business in the Redditch area. You will support the operations team with administrative duties and troubleshooting of returned/faulty products. If you are technically minded, this could be the perfect opportunity to develop skills related to your interests. This role is suitable for individuals interested in electrical engineering, systems and control, or hardware troubleshooting.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the customer service team with administrative tasks such as printing, copying, and preparing documentation for orders.
2. Assisting with troubleshooting on returns/faulty products to establish root causes.
3. Providing feedback on product issues to customers/clients, offering solutions and aftercare advice.
4. Ensuring a safe workplace by following health and safety policies.
5. Supporting stock management, stock counting, and inventory control.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
* No prior experience is required; however, experience in admin, retail, or hospitality roles can be beneficial for customer service skills.
* Relevant GCSEs or college courses such as systems and controls, IT, or electrical engineering.
* Technically minded; full training on products will be provided.
The position is full-time, 8:00-16:00, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week), on-site at their offices in Redditch.
