Job Overview
Creswell and Langwith Medical Centre is recruiting a General Practitioner to work 28 hours per week. The practice provides well‑equipped, spacious consulting rooms and serves 5,467 patients in Creswell, Langwith and surrounding areas. It is rated "good" by the CQC and performs well against QOF and the GP Patient Survey.
Position is full‑time (fixed‑term or secondment for NHS staff) and is part of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust.
Responsibilities
* Provide a portfolio of general medical services, managing a busy caseload and ensuring high standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
* Support the Lead Clinician and practice team in managing clinical work and leader‑specific key disease areas.
* Lead on key QOF domains, quality standards and practice initiatives as agreed with the Clinical Lead and/or Practice Manager.
* Support the extended access service and contribute to the practice’s overall clinical objectives.
* Participate in clinical governance, auditing and continuous professional development activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
* International graduates must be on the GP Specialist List and hold a valid GMC registration.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* A commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a community setting.
