An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full‑time experienced Receptionist/Administrator to work within the Small Heath Community Mental Health Team.
Our CMHTs provide assessment, specialist support, treatment and care planning for service users with functional mental health problems such as depression and psychotic mental illness. The service is multidisciplinary and operates within an integrated hub alongside other services.
Responsibilities
* Monitor, record and book appointments, and manage a busy telephone line.
* Receive all incoming mail and ensure appropriate action is taken.
* Process clinical letters and other correspondence.
* Provide administrative support to all members of the Hub, liaising with multidisciplinary team members, other health professionals, GP's, social workers, service users and other appropriate agencies.
* Act as the first point of contact for patients, staff and visitors, presenting in a friendly and approachable manner.
* Work on own initiative, demonstrating effective organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure in a busy environment.
* Process enquiries in a confidential and timely manner.
Qualifications
* Experience in a receptionist/administration role within a healthcare setting.
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Relocation
Relocation expenses may be reimbursed subject to eligibility. The policy provides for reimbursement up to £8,000.
Training and Induction
All successful applicants will be required to complete the Trust's induction programme. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be in an e‑learning format. You will be required to complete training modules online (approximately 9‑14 hours depending on post) by the end of your second week with us.
