A new, uber-exciting creative agency has launched in London, backed by an established network and existing EU presence. So whilst it has the mailability of a start up and an opportunity to write the narrative and own processes, there is also financial security and a larger network to tap in to for resource and support. It is the best of both worlds!
They are looking for an Account Director to complement the small, growing team, with a can-do attitude … pitches, project work and live accounts: to curate and deliver immersive experiences that transform brand stories into emotive, shareable moments. It is not a pure operations hire; you will play a huge role in account delivery, growth and the agency's trajectory.
Experiential and events are essential as this forms the lions' share of their output.
Personality is key! Grit and HUNGER. Hungry to build something and excited by shaping it, proactive, pragmatic, driven, and decisive. You will, in return, have complete trust and autonomy. You'll need to be flexible; sometimes you'll be figuring things out together for the first time. So, a can-do attitude is essential. Someone open-minded, solutions-focused, and not walking in with rigid expectations.
Confidence with gravitas, high EQ, adaptability — a chameleon, comfortable dealing with all sorts of personalities
Working into the fabulous Managing Director, you will act as their “right hand man” on all aspects of the role; a hybrid Account Manager, Project Manager and Producer.
Not partial to hand holding? Great... as they are looking for someone with the ability to hold their own when handling large scale projects and clients. Someone who is driven and who has the autonomy to think, create and do.
Sellability is key. The decision-makers client side are often creatives themselves, at some incredible brands and household names. The Account Director will have their own client relationships. You need to hold your own in these conversations.
You are / can:
* hands-on Account Director who can act as a delivery-focused right hand person
* understand timelines; keeping projects, schedules, budgets, and deadlines on track
* manage execution and delivery across projects
* handling external client relationships; confident in front of clients, able to read the room
* are able to work closely with producers and delivery teams
* spot when projects are drifting or at risk and trouble shoot, pre-empt issues
