GP Primary Choice Ltd is looking to welcome a permanent HR generalist to expand our team, on a part-time basis for 22.5 hours per week, working across 3 days. Reporting to the chief operating officer, this is a generalist role which will provide a dedicated HR service to all employees and managers. We are looking for an individual who can deliver guidance and support in a professional and helpful way. You will act as first line assistance to all colleagues, providing advice and supporting managers on a range of employment issues, including conditions of service and employee benefits, discipline, grievance, performance management and absence management. Main responsibilities will include; Recruitment including assisting with job postings, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new hires. Addressing employee concerns, managing performance issues, and handling disciplinary matters, grievances, absences and dispute resolution. Planning and implementing training programs for employees. Organising annual employee reviews/appraisals and probationary sign off. Contributing to the creation of HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness. Tracking HR data and using it to inform decisions. Implementing initiatives to foster a positive and engaged work environment. Please see job description for further details. About the Candidate To be considered for this position, applicants should have the following skills and experience: Essential: BSc/BA in Human Resources/Business Administration. CIPD accredited. Excellent communication skills. Good knowledge of employment/labour laws. Ability to support innovate change through new ways of working. Experience of managing staff. Desirable: Experience of working in with primary or secondary care.
