Cyber Assurance Officer (Scottish Forestry)

We are looking for a Cyber Assurance Officer to strengthen Scottish Forestry’s cyber resilience through effective supplier assurance, governance, and preparedness activities. You will play a key role in helping safeguard our digital platforms and essential services by contributing to our approach to new and evolving digital solutions.
You’ll conduct cyber risk assessments, support incident readiness activities, and help ensure our suppliers and partners meet robust security standards. Your work will provide clear, risk informed insights that enable innovation while keeping cyber resilience at the forefront.
This role sits within the Digital Business Support Team as part of Transformation and Corporate Services.
The team leads organisation wide digital guidance, ensures compliance with Scottish Government cyber standards, and supports continuous improvement across our digital estate.
You will work alongside colleagues in digital, data and cloud related programmes, helping to ensure that cyber considerations are embedded from the outset and that controls remain effective and proportionate.
As part of the Digital Business Support Team, you will also contribute to secure digital services that underpin sustainable land management, innovation, and wider organisational priorities.
