Role & Responsibilities
* Develop and articulate a compelling sales and marketing vision and strategy aligned with the group’s objectives and guest-experience focus.
* Translate commercial goals into actionable plans with clear ROI and accountability.
* Lead the sales and marketing teams, balancing group-wide initiatives with the brand identities of each venue.
* Be the brand guardian as the group grows, ensuring consistent communications across all touchpoints.
* Balance personalisation at venue level with a cohesive group sales and marketing mindset.
* Collaborate with the Managing Director, internal team of seven, external agencies, and consultants to achieve ambitious goals.
Key Areas
* Sales Management & Growth: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team; drive Private Dining and Group Event sales; optimise restaurant and bar sales through data and promotions; establish robust sales processes and metrics.
* Marketing Leadership & Brand Development: Direct the marketing team and work with a world-class brand agency to maintain consistent messaging across venues; leverage brand communications to enhance guest perception and loyalty; align marketing calendars with trade planning and operations; measure ROI.
* Team & Stakeholder Management: Inspire cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Procurement, Finance, and venue teams; manage external agencies and maintain hands-on leadership when appropriate.
What We’re Looking For
* Demonstrable experience managing and motivating a sales team with a track record of hitting revenue targets.
* Minimum 10 years of progressive sales and marketing leadership in the premium hospitality sector.
* Fluency in Private Dining and Group Event sales strategies, including lead generation, conversion, and client management.
* Proven expertise in increasing restaurant and bar sales through hospitality technology stacks (reservations, CRM, yield management).
* Experience managing supplier initiatives and A&P funding.
* Experience leading multi-functional marketing teams and large budgets across brand, digital, content, PR, and events.
* Strong understanding of brand building and ROI-focused campaigns.
* Commercial acumen with P&L understanding and revenue optimization.
* Exceptional leadership to unite diverse stakeholders behind a clear, commercially minded vision.
* Experience managing external agencies and consultants to deliver value.
