X-Ray Technician Per Diem
MFM Health is a well-established private practice dedicated to providing high-quality primary care services to our community. Our team is committed to delivering compassionate care and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our team per diem for in person coverage on Mondays. Must reside within travel distance to Middleton, MA, USA.
Job Summary: The X-Ray Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine and specialized x-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
* Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
* Prepare and position patients appropriately to obtain accurate images.
* Operate and maintain x-ray equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.
* Assist in the management of patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures and results.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including radiation safety and infection control standards.
* Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
* State licensure as required.
* Minimum of 1‑2years or more of experience as an X‑Ray Technician, preferably in a primary care or similar setting.
* Strong technical skills and proficiency with x‑ray equipment and digital imaging systems.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
* Commitment to patient safety and high‑quality care.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
* Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
* Manual dexterity to operate x‑ray equipment.
Compensation
$55‑$60 per hour commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Per diem; coverage on Mondays.
