Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be instrumental in creating a positive and productive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and providing targeted support to pupils, both one-on-one and in small groups.
* Helping to implement effective behaviour management strategies to ensure a respectful and focused classroom.
* Organising and preparing classroom materials and displays to create an engaging learning space.
* Offering a consistent and caring presence for pupils, helping them build confidence and self-esteem.
* Observing pupils' progress and providing valuable feedback to the teacher.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
* A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable, or you must have significant, demonstrable experience in a primary school setting.
* An Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
* The legal right to work in the UK without any restrictions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient and adaptable approach.
* A genuine desire to help every child thrive.
