About You & the Role: We’re looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator (12-Month Internship) to support our dynamic marketing team across company and partner events, brand initiatives and content creation. This job-ready placement is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world marketing experience in the live events industry while contributing to meaningful projects The marketing functions at Neg Earth Lights: External & Internal Events – The coordination of internal events currently includes: Events such as the Christmas Party and Summer Celebration Ad hoc staff lunches and regular evening events. Digital Marketing & Content – We Create and deliver bold, authentic digital content aligned to our Unique Selling Point, designed to resonate with our target audience across social media, website, targeted newsletters, and industry publications. Our people, facilities, partners & clients are part of our overall content plan which is accessed by over 30,0000 followers. Brand Initiatives - Improving our client and staff touchpoints – tenders, customer journeys, branding, signage and SWAG. Areas Where You’ll Gain Experience and Opportunities for Growth Company & Partner Events Supporting an event calendar of Neg Earth Lights social events to build engagement. Supporting Onsite logistical coordination (including set up, catering, tracking) Support partner events, i.e. Production Futures, and charitable partners Digital Marketing Support the collection and analysis of website and social media data to uncover insights. To help create engaging content that delivers our business storytelling priorities To support the internal communication strategy with SharePoint communication Internal Brand Assets Supporting the delivery of improved branding & signage around the Neg Earth warehouse. During the 12-month placement you will… Be part of the delivery and organisation of company events, for example, assisting with monthly events for our staff to build and support wellbeing and team building. Support the collection and analysis of website and social media data to uncover insights. Gain experience of how content drives our brand and business in the live events industry. Understand and be part of the delivery of our company newsletter via Mailchimp. Gain hands-on experience supporting digital communications via SharePoint and social media. If desired, learn videography skills via premier pro Requirements Essential Criteria for the Marketing Coordinator Role Positive and Enthusiastic Attitude: Demonstrates high energy, motivation, and a proactive approach to tasks and team engagement. Good Communication Skills: Able to communicate confidently and clearly, both verbally and in writing, to engage with team members Willingness to Learn: Open to gaining new marketing knowledge and skills Personality and Interpersonal Skills: Outgoing, friendly, and approachable, with the ability to build rapport and work well within a team. Basic Understanding of Marketing Concepts: Some prior knowledge or exposure to marketing principles is beneficial but not essential; a keen interest in marketing is important. Organisational Skills: Ability to stay organized, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. Basic Digital Skills: Comfortable using common office software (e.g., emails, social media platforms, MS Office) and open to learning more advanced tools. These criteria focus on personality, attitude, and willingness to develop, aligning with a role that is high-energy and engaging but does not require extensive prior skills. Standard companywide responsibilities Any other duties as required/authorised by your line manager/reporting line Comply with all health and safety requirements Comply with all policies and procedures Ensuring work areas are kept in a clean and tidy manner
