JDR Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business within the home improvement/building materials sector.

* Monday to Thursday
* 6:00am - 3:45pm
* No weekend work

* £12.71 per hour (starting rate)
* Permanent contract offered after 13 weeks

Role Overview
Working as part of a busy warehouse and production environment, you will be responsible for supporting the movement, storage, and dispatch of materials used within a manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities
* Loading and unloading deliveries safely
* Picking and packing orders for dispatch
* Preparing goods for distribution to customers
* Moving stock within the warehouse (manual handling required)
* Supporting production teams where required
* Carrying out general warehouse duties and maintaining a clean working environment
* Following health & safety procedures at all times

* Previous warehouse or manual handling experience preferred
* Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physically fit due to lifting and moving materials
* Reliable and punctual
