Teamforce Labour is currently seeking a highly experienced Steelfixer Foreman for a long-term project in Uxbridge, West London.
This is a superb opportunity for someone with a strong background in steel fixing who is ready to step up or already operating at a foreman level.
You will be expected to lead a team of steelfixers, coordinate with site management, and ensure that all steel fixing works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of steelfixers on site
Ensure work is carried out in accordance with construction drawings and method statements
Maintain quality control procedures and complete daily reports
Liaise with site engineers and management to ensure work is completed to programme
Monitor health & safety compliance and enforce standards on site
Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments where requiredRequirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in steel fixing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/foreman capacity
Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card – NVQ Level 2 in Steelfixing (or higher)
SSSTS or SMSTS
Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings
Strong leadership and communication skills
Safety Critical Medical preferred (not essential)
Two checkable references
