About The Role

As a Sales and Retention Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting customers at key points in their healthcare journey. This is a varied, fast‑paced inbound and outbound role focused on:
1. Helping customers who need support completing their digital journey
2. Retaining customers who are considering cancelling their health plan
3. Promoting the value of our affordable health and dental plans
4. Working to daily, weekly and monthly performance targets
You’ll use your natural communication skills to build rapport, explain the benefits of our products clearly, and support customers in making their own informed decisions. As we are FCA‑regulated, this is a non‑advised sales role, focused on quality conversations and excellent service.
You’ll also collaborate with our wider Sales team to support corporate client retention and ensure every opportunity is maximised.
Key responsibilities:
5. Achieving and where possible exceeding your own individual sales and retention targets.
6. Manage own performance and personal development, in line with objectives and other development needs identified during the year, to lead to increased performance.
7. Deliver exceptional service by ensuring you follow through with all aspects of the sales and retention process.
8. Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via telephone conversations that help the customer recognise and understand the benefits of healthcare products and services.
9. Effectively manage your time to contribute towards company targets and profit maintaining the required volume of outbound/inbound calls and maintain agreed standards of response rates on incoming calls.
10. Use your personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles as part of your daily conversations.
11. Maintain product and process knowledge to ensure that you are fully compliant to sell within a FCA regulated environment.
12. Complete personal and departmental administrative tasks in line with agreed processes.
13. Ensure that you work in a safe manner and remain up to date and comply with the Health & Safety policy statement and procedures and report any incidents to your line manager.

We have a head office in Hampshire, but depending on your role, you’ll be able to enjoy our ‘smart working’ approach This means you can flex when and where you spend your time. For many of us this means day to day work can be handled remotely, but there will also be times when we need to come together in the office to collaborate, attend training sessions, induction, briefings and more.
