We have an exciting opportunity for a childcare professional to join our well established and thriving village preschool. To start the end of October.
We are looking for an experienced childcare professional who will support the Preschool Leader with running preschool and who will deputise in the Preschool Leader's absence. You must hold NVQ level 3 Early Years Education or an equivalent qualification.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES (DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE):
* To assist with the leadership, management and administration of the setting.
* Providing high quality inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children.
* Maintaining a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment according to EYFS,
* An understanding of current legislation and pre-school policies
* Developing and maintaining partnerships with other agencies.
* EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
* Team leadership and management skills.
* Ability to work effectively on own initiative and to motivate others.
* A minimum level 3 qualification in early years childcare and education.
* Current working knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage.
* A sound understanding of child development and children's needs.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* To actively promote and have a commitment to equal opportunities.
HOURS OF WORK:
Preschool is open Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm term time only. Our current vacancy is for 28 hrs/week over 4 days. 8:15 - 3:15. The salary will be £13.50 p/h
