We are looking for an experienced Plater / Pipefitter Charge hand to join our team on a permanent, days-only basis in Middlesbrough.
✅ The Role
Lead and supervise a small team of platers and pipefitters.
Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards are met.
Hands-on fabrication, plating, and pipefitting work as required.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Maintain health & safety compliance across the workshop and site.
Support management with planning, coordination, and training of team members.
🛠️ Skills & Experience
Time-served Plater / Pipefitter with proven supervisory/chargehand experience.
Strong fabrication and pipefitting background.
Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
Knowledge of health & safety and quality standards.
Good communication and leadership skills.
📅 Hours & Benefits
Days only - Monday to Friday (no shifts / nights).
Permanent, full-time role.
£21.67 - £23.56 per hour + overtime opportunities.
