A Sheffield based company who specialises in Fibre sensing solutions are on the lookout for a Project Manager with a Mechanical/Electrical skillset to join their team.
The position is looking to be a 3-month contract initially and then will aim to transfer to a full time permanent position. The role of the Project Manager may also require most of the time being onsite, but remote working/flexible hours are available when needed.
The Company
A Fibre Sensing solution company that work with multiple industries including oil & gas, renewables and commercial. This particular project will be working closely with the end client on a Battery powered electrical distribution project for commercial venues.
Mechanical/Electrical Project Manager
As the client work within a fast paced environment, the successful candidate will need to have previous experience as an Manager or Team Lead, and can show examples of leading a multi-disciplined team.
Skills overview:
* Degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Technical understanding of CAD Systems, BOMs, Design, Schematics, Cabling etc.
* General knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
* Experience working within a manufacturing environment, especially within safety critical projects
