This role is based in the United Kingdom and all normal working days must be carried out in the United Kingdom.
What you’ll do
As a Security Analyst, you’ll play a proactive role in anticipating and identifying security events, incidents and trends that could adversely impact the bank, our customers, employees or assets. You’ll collaborate with internal and external colleagues, specialists and stakeholders to ensure activities related to third‑party security requirements and controls are completed in line with standard operating procedures and to a high standard.
You’ll also:
* Provide end‑to‑end security response, including triage, response, escalation and coordination of events and incidents.
* Make decisions based on robust data, ROI and value measures that demonstrate thoughtful and intelligent cost management.
* Encourage the identification of ideas and drive the delivery of initiatives that reduce cost and simplify the bank.
* Build and leverage relationships with colleagues across the bank and with third parties, ensuring decisions are commercially focused and create long‑term value for the organisation.
Skills and qualifications
To succeed in this role, you need good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and management. You should also have strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Additionally, you need:
* Analytical skills and strong problem‑solving capabilities.
* Understanding of banking security controls.
* Experience with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile team.
* Risk management and security controls experience.
* Third‑party security management.
