Purpose of the Job
Showersave is looking for an experienced and motivated Plumber to join our Technical Support team in an exciting, customer-focused role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified plumber who is ready to step away from full-time site work and use their technical expertise in a varied and rewarding environment.
You’ll play a key role in supporting our customers and contributing to Showersave’s continued growth by delivering expert technical advice, product support, and practical solutions. The role offers variety, regular travel across Great Britain, and the chance to build strong relationships while representing a growing and innovative business.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
* Conduct site visits to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper installation of Showersave products
* Deliver engaging and informative "tool box talks" and training sessions, both in person and online, to educate installers and customers on Showersave products and best practices.
* Respond promptly and accurately to technical inquiries from customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
* Provide expert technical guidance and support to customers regarding product selection, installation, and troubleshooting.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with Showersave products and services.
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Showersave products, installation procedures, and technical specifications.
* Maintain accurate records of site visits, customer interactions, and technical issues.
* Work closely with the Technical Manager and other team members to ensure seamless customer support.
* As the company expands and due to ongoing changes in market conditions and the business environment, it is a requirement of the position to undertake any other reasonable task related to the position you hold.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer, preferably within the plumbing, heating, industry.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in using computers and relevant software applications.
* Full UK clean Driving licence.
* Must be willing and able to travel throughout Great Britain.
