Profile: Occupational Therapy Team Manager Paediatrics & Sensory Integration

Location: Central London

Hours: Full-time or Part-time

Are you a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist ready to take the next step into leadership? We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious private paediatric therapy clinic based in Central London, seeking a Team Manager / Lead Occupational Therapist to join their growing multidisciplinary team.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a well-established, specialist clinic that has built a strong reputation for excellence in paediatric therapy and sensory integration. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping clinical practice, mentoring therapists, and delivering high-quality care to children and families.

The Role

This hybrid position combines clinical delivery (70%) with team leadership and project work (30%), offering a dynamic and rewarding balance. Youll report directly to the CEO, a renowned expert in paediatrics and sensory integration, and collaborate closely with a passionate team of therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of occupational therapists, including weekend practitioners.

Deliver expert clinical services, including assessments and sensory integration interventions.

Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of team members.

Contribute to strategic planning, service development, and quality improvement initiatives.

Act as a point of contact for complex cases and stakeholder engagement.

About You

Were looking for someone who is:

HCPC registered with a degree in Occupational Therapy.

Experienced in paediatric therapy (minimum 7 years), with strong sensory integration expertise.

A confident leader or senior therapist ready to step into a management role.

Skilled in balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Passionate about making a difference in the lives of neurodiverse children and their families.

Desirable:

Advanced Sensory Integration training (e.g., SIPT certification).

Experience with Ayres Sensory Integration equipment.

Background in multidisciplinary settings.
