SEND Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support & Group work

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide1:1 support for a primary-aged child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and some behavioural needs. The successful candidate will:
* Support the child in class, helping them access the curriculum in line with their EHCP
* Recognise when the child needs short breaks and facilitate a smooth return to learning
* Assist with both academic and emotional development
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent, high-quality support
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD and behavioural needs (essential)
* A calm, patient and flexible approach to support and behaviour management
* Available totrial during the first week of September
* Able to commit to afull-time, long-term role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
