HR Business Partner – Leicester- £40,000 - £43,000 per annum

With ambitious expansion plans, they need an HR professional to deliver trusted, day-to-day support and contribute to core people projects. The Role
As a HR Business Partner, you’ll work closely with colleagues at all levels to deliver effective and pragmatic HR support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to progress from Senior HR Advisor or a junior HRBP looking to deepen their impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide HR advice and support for managers and employees on policies, procedures, and HR best practices.
* Support the management of employee relations issues such as absence, grievances, disciplinaries, and flexible working requests.
* Assist with change processes, including TUPE and redundancies, with guidance from senior HR colleagues where required.
* Help roll out and communicate reward, recognition, and engagement initiatives at site level.
* Coordinate and advise on recruitment, onboarding, and induction activities.
* Support People Plan activity, collating and maintaining local HR data, reporting trends, and offering suggestions for improvement.
* Guide and coach line managers to develop their people management capability.
* Promote the company’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and well-being.
* Ensure compliance with employment law and support continuous improvement of HR processes.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally as a Senior HR Advisor or early-stage HR Business Partner.
* Strong employee relations skills and confidence giving first-line advice and coaching to managers.
* Some exposure to change management, TUPE, or redundancy processes is helpful, but not essential.
* Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
* Approachable, positive, and eager to learn and develop.
* CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) would be an advantage, but not essential.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
