Description Social Worker x3 Permanent Grade C - £35,412- £41,771 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Golden Hello payment - £1,000 and £5,000 per annum; see below for further details and conditions. Working 36.5 hours per week An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative, enthusiastic and highly motivated qualified Social Worker to join the Specialist Mental Health Team. You will have demonstrable social work experience, the ability to work positively as part of a team and in partnership with other stakeholders. Working within the Specialist Mental Health Team, you will be required to carry out assessments under The Care Act 2014, Safeguarding Section 42 Enquiries, and work closely in partnership with the NHS to consider citizen's Section 117 aftercare needs under The Mental Health Act 1983. You will be responsible for: You will have demonstrable social work experience, the ability to work positively as part of a team and in partnership with other stakeholders You will be required to carry out assessments under The Care Act 2014, Safeguarding Section 42 Enquiries Work closely in partnership with the NHS to consider citizen's Section 117 aftercare needs under The Mental Health Act 1983 You will be responsible for completing support plans and presenting funding applications to the budget holders You will also be required to complete social circumstances reports for the Mental Health Review Tribunal in the case of psychiatric inpatients. We are seeking enthusiastic and flexible candidates who are committed to work in a multidisciplinary setting. The candidates should hold a Social Work qualification and must be registered with Social Work England. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to sponsor employment visas.
