As an Engineer at CGL you will be involved in all aspects of a project from “cradle to grave”, gaining real experience of all stages of a project within a supportive team. You will gain exposure to a wide range of geological settings and ground hazards whilst working on a wide variety projects across the UK. You will be assigned to one of our offices, but you may be working away from home for periods of time.
Our dynamic team is involved in projects of all shapes and sizes, from large scale infrastructure projects (with a strong focus in Scotland) to local commercial and residential developments. We are looking for someone who:
1. Has 2-3 years experience in an Engineering Geologist or similar role
2. Is able to take the initiative and be self-motivated.
3. Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Has a track record of working as part of a team to achieve a common objective.
5. Has the adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
6. Is able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Has an openness to learning and passion for the field. Eager to stay updated on industry trends.
