Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteers are vital to our conservation projects, festivals, and more. It’s a great way to meet new people, enjoy outdoor activities, earn community service hours, and gain experience. NVCA offers various volunteer opportunities for families, individuals, students, community groups, schools, and corporate groups.
Thanks to our volunteers for their support of community tree planting programs and landowners who have welcomed us onto their properties to restore river health.
River Restoration
Participate by wearing chest waders and anchoring old Christmas trees into streambanks to trap soil and create fish habitats. This is part of a larger river rehabilitation project.
Festivals and Events
NVCA hosts two annual festivals – the Spring Tonic Maple Syrup Festival and the Festival at Fort Willow. Volunteers play a key role in their success.
