Working closely with managers and stakeholders, youll help create positive employee experiences while ensuring policies and procedures are applied consistently and effectively.</p><p>This is a varied role offering exposure to a wide range of HR activities, from Employee Relations and absence management through to systems, reporting, and people initiatives.</p><h3>Key Details</h3><ul><li>Salary of £35,000 - £37,000</li><li>Working hours: Monday to Friday - 08:45 am to 17:30 pm</li><li>Office-based in Horsham with occasional travel to other business locations as required.</li><li>34 days annual leave</li><li>Company pension scheme</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Opportunity to join a supportive and professional HR team</li><li>Exposure to a broad and varied HR remit</li><li>Long-term career development opportunities</li></ul><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Act as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR queries</li><li>Provide guidance and support on Employee Relations matters including disciplinary, grievance and capability issues</li><li>Support and monitor sickness absence cases, helping managers achieve positive outcomes</li><li>Conduct exit interviews and employee health-related conversations</li><li>Assist with HR systems administration, reporting and data analysis
</li><li>Support the delivery of people-focused communications and engagement initiatives</li><li>Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation</li><li>Support investigations and prepare documentation relating to Employee Relations cases</li><li>Produce HR reports and management information to support decision making</li><li>Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple locations</li></ul><h3>About You</h3><p>Were looking for a proactive and confident HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent people support.</p><h3>Essential Requirements</h3><ul><li>Previous experience working in an HR Advisor role</li><li>CIPD Level 5 qualification</li><li>Strong Employee Relations experience</li><li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills</li><li>Confident handling sensitive and confidential information</li><li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li>Comfortable using HR systems and producing reports</li><li>A proactive, solutions-focused approach</li></ul><h3>Desirable</h3><ul><li>Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce</li><li>Full UK driving licence</li><li>Experience using HRIS platforms and people analytics</li></ul><p>Optime Group is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.</p></div>
