48 hours per week, working 4 days per week from Monday to Saturday, on a 3-week rota.

Due to the nature of the role, there will be an ad-hoc requirement to night out.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Blower / Tipper Driver to join our team.
Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely collection of raw materials from stores and delivery of animal feed to farms, across England and the Scottish Borders, including lots of rural locations. You will represent the Company on the front line, building positive relationships with our valued customers and suppliers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding our commitment to quality service, with a commitment to health, safety, and environmental procedures and a strong focus on drivers' regulatory responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Adhere to all road traffic regulations, including drivers' hours and the Working Time Directive.
* Conduct and accurately record daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
* Safely deliver animal feed from our mill to farms using a bulk blower trailer and safely collect raw material from stores and deliver to our mill in line with relevant feed safety requirements.
* Operate all vehicle and delivery equipment safely and professionally.
* Plan delivery schedules and routes in collaboration with the driver & fleet team.
* Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery and tachograph, accurately and on time.
* Ensure high standards of vehicle cleanliness, both inside and out.
* Demonstrate efficient and cost-effective driver behaviours.
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C & E) driving license.
* Current Driver CPC qualification.
* Valid Digital Tachograph card.
* 2+ years of regular Class 1 HGV driving.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* A professional and flexible approach to working hours, including early starts and longer days as required.
* A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental procedures.
* Physically active, due to the hands-on requirements when on farm.
* Good geographical knowledge and confidence with rural routes.
* You must be open to 'nights out' in the evenings.
Desirable Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar driving role is highly desirable. Experience with bulk blowing operations is a plus, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Experience working within an agricultural environment is advantageous.
* Good geographical knowledge and confidence with rural routes
