Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a growth-oriented, commercially driven technology group in their search for a temporary Assistant Accountant.
This Marchwood-based company offers an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and passionate team, providing both finance/accountancy responsibilities and exposure to operational responsibilities and wider business insights.
This role is fully office-based.
Key Responsibilities:
* Load supplier and customer invoices
* Cost of sale journals
* Monthly payment runs/pro-forma invoices
* Manage overdue debt
* Bank reconciliation
* Expedite purchase orders
* Set up new suppliers
* Price/UOM & other adjustments
* Update standard costs and cost roll-up
* Monitor & arrange facility servicing
* Raise sales orders/order acknowledgements
* Arrange shipping/couriers
* Monitor & maintain all ongoing service contracts
Key Skills:
* Team player - able to help in all areas of the business
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Knowledge & experience of both the payables and receivables ledger
