Registered Children’s Home Manager (EBD) – Birmingham & Leicester
We are looking for an experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to oversee two Ofsted-registered residential homes in Birmingham and Leicester, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Base pay range
Registered Children’s Home Manager (EBD) – £60,000 to £65,000 – Birmingham & Leicester

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per year (depending on experience)
Location: Birmingham & Leicester (in-person)
Responsibilities
* Manage the daily operations of two children’s homes (Birmingham & Leicester).
* Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations.
* Lead, mentor, and support staff teams, ensuring professional growth and development.
* Design and oversee individualised care plans to meet each young person’s emotional and developmental needs.
* Promote safeguarding practices and maintain a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment.
* Monitor performance through audits, incident reviews, and continuous improvement measures.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior or deputy role within a children’s residential home.
* Strong background in supporting children with EBD and challenging behaviours.
* In-depth knowledge of safeguarding law, Ofsted standards, and Children’s Homes Regulations.
* Level 4 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
* Understanding of trauma-informed practice.
* Enhanced DBS required.
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
* No sponsorship available – applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK (Share Code if applicable).
