Responsibilities:
* Provide expert system and design knowledge to support detailed engineering tasks and activity backlogs.
* Facilitate, manage, and run scrums/sprints.
* Apply agile methodologies for efficient management and delivery of engineering work.
* Identify, define, and prioritize work packages aligned with schedules.
* Uphold sound theoretical and practical engineering approaches.
* Track daily progress, report, and produce performance metrics.
* Contribute to project strategy and methodology.
* Potential to line manage, coach, and mentor engineers.
Skills and Experience:
* Strong understanding of C&I/Electrical systems design and relevant experience.
* Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physics, Maths, or Science.
* Experience in engineering systems design and testing.
* Knowledge of agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
* Familiarity with Defence and Industry standards.
* Chartered engineer or working towards it.

The Sub Systems Engineering Team
You will work on designing, developing, and supporting control systems for submarines, focusing on high-integrity control systems. This role involves defining detailed IV&V and C&I activities, reporting to the engineering manager.
