Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Room Leader to join the team in Oxford the salary starts at £28300 depending on qualifications and experince. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging atmosphere where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our students.
Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
Create a warm and welcoming environment that encourages children’s curiosity and creativity.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
Drive children’s engagement through various activities including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
Assess children’s development regularly to tailor educational approaches to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive approach to early childhood education.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
A degree or qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for childcare and the development of young children.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to drive individual initiatives.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
