Early Years Teacher Advisor
Walsall Council seeks an Early Years Teacher Advisor to lead and support the development of quality early years education across the borough, focusing on narrowing educational gaps and promoting school readiness.
Salary: £47,181 - £50,269 per annum.
Responsibilities: Strengthen early childhood development and educational outcomes for children in Walsall. Collaborate with schools, settings, and family hubs to ensure high-quality provision and support early years practitioners. Drive improvement, analyse data, and provide targeted support to ensure every child receives an excellent start.
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status with a formal teaching qualification.
* Experience in a senior school role, leading and managing EYFS delivery.
Additional requirements: Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is required for working with children, young people and vulnerable adults. Applicants must declare any periods living, studying or working abroad and be prepared to provide Overseas Criminal Records Certificate (OCRC) or Statement of Good Conduct (SOGC).
