A&R and Business Rights' Administrator.
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to learn and experience about the creative and administrative processes involved in the music industry.
A&R administration:
Assisting with front-line release ingestion with A&R to digital distribution channels. Compiling Metadata Label copy, barcode, catalogue number generation. Digital storage (G drive) and labelling of music and creative assets, ensuring accurate filing. Proofing print files and liaising with Artists concerning credits and creative. Building and maintaining A&R project logs and trackers. Preparing releases for publication.
Rights Management:
Digital (via database) work-flow for all assets (audio/visual): i.e. from demos received by A&R demos through to final masters, involves registration in Airtable and managing asset metadata, IP contributions.
Business Affairs:
Including support with legal agreements: session, vocalist, performer arrangements, plus producer, mixer, remixer. License/3rd party/Sync agreements. Publishing, Image rights, Merchandise, Recording & Performance/Live.
Commercial & Audience analyst:
Working within the team determining viable commercial opportunities, fees and pricing models for Artist stores
Investigating and analysing musical trends and audiences in specific markets and providing reports to Managers, monitoring new releases, catalogue and other key events. Responding to spikes in trends and determining best course of action to promote.
Role characteristics: Attention to detail and be very organised, working to deadlines, be comfortable in a team environment. Passion for new music.
Location: Office based in Richmond (London).
Salary: subject to any prior experience
This is an entry level job, but equally could also suit somebody with some relevant previous experience.
