Job Description
3. Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
5. Support decision-making processes by delivering detailed financial reports and recommendations.
6. Oversee cash flow management and ensure effective cost control measures are in place.
7. Collaborate with operational teams to align financial objectives with business goals.
8. Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors as needed.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. A professional qualification or relevant academic background in accounting or finance.
12. Experience within the industrial/manufacturing industry is highly desirable
13. Experience in a similar position.
14. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
15. Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
