Job Title: Pastoral Mentor Location: Nottingham (NG3) Pay Rate: £95–£120 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time Do you have the patience and empathy to help young people feel supported, understood, and motivated? GSL Education are looking for a caring and resilient Pastoral Mentor to work closely with students who need additional emotional and behavioural support in Nottingham (NG3) area. This role is ideal for someone who values relationships, consistency, and making a lasting difference. The Focus of This Pastoral Mentor Role: Provide daily pastoral care and emotional support to students Work one-to-one and in small groups to encourage positive behaviour Support attendance, engagement, and wellbeing Act as a trusted adult and positive influence within school Collaborate with teaching and safeguarding teams What You’ll Bring as a Pastoral Mentor: Experience supporting children or young people (school-based or similar) A calm, understanding, and proactive approach Strong communication and de-escalation skills Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain boundaries Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) If you’re a Pastoral Mentor ready to support and guide students in NG3, apply today and help change lives.
