Job Title: HR Assistant
Location: East Kilbride / Office based role
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum (plus bonus and benefits)

Our client, a well-established business in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced HR Assistant to support their senior leadership team with a wide range of HR responsibilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, autonomous role and is eager to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations while being a key point of contact for employees across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Support
* Coordinate job adverts, screen CVs, and manage interview scheduling
* Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
* Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system
* Liaising with recruitment agencies
Onboarding & Offboarding
* Deliver seamless onboarding experiences for new hires
* Organise exit interviews and manage offboarding documentation
* Keep employee records up-to-date and compliant
Employee Relations
* Be the go-to for employee HR queries and support
* Assist in handling employee concerns and escalating when needed
* Contribute to a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives
HR Administration & Compliance
* Manage HR databases and prepare reports and documentation
* Coordinate training and development opportunities
* Ensure HR practices meet employment law and internal policies
* Work closely with the company’s external HR partner on policy updates
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous track record gained in a HR environment, ideally within manufacturing or industrial but this is not essential
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* High attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
* Self-starter who can manage their own workload and work effectively solo
The Package:
* Salary: Up to £33,000 plus a performance-based bonus (paid twice yearly)
* Hours: 35-hour working week
o Mon–Thurs: 8:30–16:45, Fri: 8:30–12:30
* Holidays: 35 days annual leave
