Job Description
* Understand and adhere to the principles contained within the ward philosophy.
* Show awareness and work towards meeting the agreed aims and objectives of the ward.
* Put into practice the theory and principles of the agreed nursing model.
* Manage total care of a group of patients within sphere of competence.
* Supervise the practice of newly qualified and unqualified staff.
* Ensure communication given to and received from other members of the multi-disciplinary team is effective.
Requirements for a Registered Nurse Job in Nottingham
* Proven experience as a registered nurse.
* Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
* Excellent knowledge of emergency care.
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times.
* A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Responsible and compassionate.
* Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
* Patient with excellent problem-solving skills.
* B.Sc or other diploma from a nursing program.
* A valid nursing license.
