As a Primary Trained Teacher, you will deliver a broad and engaging curriculum tailored to individual learning needs, helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally within a nurturing and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Develop personalised learning approaches that enable pupils to achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families, and external professionals.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, adapting provision as required.
  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development through consistent and positive strategies.
  • Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) reviews and target setting.

We Are Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN, ASC, SEMH, or complex learning needs is desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Creativity, resilience, flexibility, and a solution-focused approach.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

What We Offer

  • Small class sizes of no more than 8 pupils, allowing for meaningful relationships and personalised teaching.
  • A supportive and collaborative staff team.
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Access to specialist training in SEND and therapeutic approaches.
  • A rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference to young people's lives.
  • Employee wellbeing support and benefits package.

If you are a passionate teacher who believes every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed, we would love to hear from you.

To apply, please submit your CV and a covering letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
