Position:
We are looking for a Raw Materials Planner to ensure products are purchased in an accurate and timely manner - the shift pattern for the role will be Friday to Monday 9.5 hour days
* Materials Planning
* Managing the purchasing of materials for the New Product Development team, ensuring that the right supplier is found, at the right price, first time
* Reporting on waste and leading waste meetings
* Responsible for supplier scorecards – ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in full whilst monitoring supplier performance
* Purchasing packaging for the site
* Administration and maintenance of supplier contracts
* Cover for the Planning Team as and when required
Requirements:
* A minimum of two years experience in materials planning
* Experience of working in the food industry would be beneficial
* Strong Excel skills
* Experience in withing with MRP Systems (M3 would be preferred)
* Confident in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
