We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £48,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and standards
* Lead the creation and execution of the annual site Safety, Health & Environmental Management Improvement Plan
* Investigate incidents, near misses, and hazards, ensuring root causes are addressed and preventative actions are implemented
* Managed site safety documentation, audits, and reporting, including insurance and legal compliance
* Coordinate planned maintenance and ensure full understanding of fire, gas, electrical, and water systems
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Strong, proven experience in a QHSE role, ideally within a fast-paced, complex environment
* NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Safety (essential)
* Proven ability to lead change, manage policies, and deliver training
* Analytical mindset with strong hazard-spotting and problem-solving skills
