🔧 About the Role:
You’ll be working closely with project managers, engineers, and the commercial team to produce accurate mechanical estimates for a range of commercial and industrial projects. Your attention to detail, industry knowledge, and ability to analyse drawings and specifications will be key to your success.
🛠 Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed mechanical estimates from drawings and specifications
*
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
*
Produce take-offs and cost breakdowns
*
Collaborate with the design and project teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility
*
Identify value engineering opportunities and potential risks
*
Maintain an organised database of estimates and tender submissions
✅ What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a mechanical estimating role or a strong mechanical engineering background
*
Sound knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building services
*
Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office (especially Excel)
*
Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
*
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
