Working as a Clinical Lead in the Urgent Care Services Crisis Team.
1. Responsibility for promoting and maintaining high standards of nursing care provided by the team.
2. Providing senior clinical support and advice to team members to ensure visible clinical leadership.
3. Leading the clinical coordination of the team across a 7-day week, including supervision and MDT reviews.
4. Focusing on projects that improve service provision and practice, working closely with the team.
5. Ensuring care delivery aligns with up-to-date guidelines and best practices.
6. Collaborating with carers and family members to conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments and involving them in risk management and care planning.
7. Advising and supervising the clinical team in managing complex cases.
8. Leading and presenting complex clinical communications affecting service users, carers, staff, and partner agencies.
9. Adhering to safeguarding policies to protect children and vulnerable adults.
10. Using problem-solving skills to support safe discharge planning.
11. Fostering effective partnerships within the crisis team and external services.
12. Providing clinical leadership across the Urgent Care teams when required.
13. Delivering clinical supervision, training, and development to team members.
