Job Summary
The Global Senior Commercial Director is responsible for leading and driving the development and implementation of global strategic commercial plans for our Myopia Management portfolio, including MiSight 1 Day, MiSight Spectacle Lenses, CRT, and Dreamlite ortho‑k brands. They will develop best‑in‑class go‑to‑market sales models in key MiSight markets, focus on delivering strong revenue growth, drive market share, and ensure customer satisfaction in collaboration with regional and local teams. The role also includes building global key‑account strategies and leading a direct report, Sr. Manager, Myopia Commercial Execution.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a global sales strategy for the myopia management category, aligning with company growth objectives and brand positioning, and analyze market trends to drive category growth.
* Own global sales targets and KPIs, working with regional and local teams to set and achieve ambitious growth targets, especially accelerating MiSight 1 Day sales in key markets such as the U.S. and Japan.
* Collaborate with product and marketing teams to oversee effective category management, including assortment planning, pricing, promotions, and private‑label strategy.
* Lead cross‑functional initiatives by working closely with global sales teams to develop and implement optimized selling blueprints that enhance MiSight 1 Day growth.
* Use data and analytics to monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities, translating insights into actionable strategies.
* Build and execute a comprehensive channel strategy covering direct and indirect (distributor) channels, ensuring profitable distribution across all channels.
* Analyze and optimize commercial budgets globally and regionally to maximize ROI on sales and marketing investments, identifying scalable solutions.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders regarding the commercial performance of the contact lens category, providing regular updates.
* Champion myopia management, mentor a high‑performing sales team across regions, and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
* This role works closely with senior myopia commercial leaders in each region and directly with sales leadership in top MiSight 1 Day markets, partnering extensively with global myopia marketing, professional affairs, finance, and regional commercial managers to align messaging and promotional tactics.
Qualifications
* Proven ability to deliver strong commercial plans and execution, consistently meeting or exceeding planned objectives.
* Executive presence and ability to confidently influence leadership at all levels.
* Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of inspiring cross‑functional, regional, and field sales teams.
* Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiating skills.
* Experience in the medical products industry, ideally with products that have both consumer and professional aspects.
* Strong commercial strategic and analytical skills, especially in understanding and driving return on investment.
Experience
* Minimum 10–15 years of senior commercial experience, preferably within the optical or medical device industries.
* Experience in CPG or category management in a global setting is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated success in achieving revenue, profitability, and market share goals in a competitive market.
* A mindset focused on continuous excellence and results.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Work Environment
This role will be based in the Victor, NY office or the Delta Park office, with an expectation of frequent travel (25–30%) to work closely with regional and country teams.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $179,834.00 and $276,668.00 per year and may include cost‑of‑living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and may change and be modified in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
